The Caribbean → Copenhagen
One family in Saint Lucia.
One kitchen in Copenhagen.
We work with a small, family owned farm in Saint Lucia in the Caribbean. Larry and Jervannia are our sea moss growers, and their families have worked with sea moss for generations. They know the water, the seasons and when a bed needs to be left alone.
We buy straight from the farm. No middlemen, no big conglomerates, just a local family who live off what they harvest. That means a fair price for the people who grow it, and it means we can tell you exactly which bed your jar came from.

Three quick ones
When can I expect my package?
We do not keep finished gel sitting in a warehouse. We make everything to order every weekend, so you always get completely fresh sea moss gel. We collect all orders up to Thursday at 23:59, produce over the weekend and send every parcel on Monday morning. If you order after Thursday, you go on next week's production.
Which flavour should I choose?
Strawberry is the best seller and the mildest, so start there if you are unsure. Pineapple is the freshest and works best in smoothies. Blueberry is less sweet and lovely in skyr. Natural has no fruit in it, if you would rather taste the sea moss itself.
How do I store it?
Put the jar in the fridge, where it stays fresh for 4 to 5 weeks. Each jar holds 14 to 16 spoonfuls, roughly two weeks for one person. If you bought several jars, you can freeze the ones you have not opened. There they keep for 4 to 6 months. Always use a clean spoon.
